One of my outside reading books is Harry Potter in French. I don't really have much of a reason for picking it but my teacher used it as an example of a book to get, so I chose it. I can understand most of it, but it takes me a long time to read. For most books I can read about one and a half pages in a minute. For this book, I read about three pages in ten minutes. I also sometimes keep an English copy of the book with me to help me understand, but I try not to use it.
The other book I am reading is Eragon. I started reading it earlier this year, but I went on to another book. I started it again because I didn't remember much about it. I think it is good so far though. The only thing that has really happened is that Eragon found what he thought was a stone in the forest, but it just hatched into a dragon.
Monday:Harry Potter pg.1-7, Eragon pg.1-15 32min
Tuesday:Harry Potter pg 7-12 20min
Wednesday: pg. 12-20 20min
Thursday: pg. 20-26 20min
Friday: pg. 26-34 20min
Saturday: pg. 34-44, Eragon 15-40 45min
Hey Brandon, I remember reading those. It must be pretty hard to understand in French.
ReplyDeleteThat's so impressive that you can read an entire book in French, especially one as hard as Harry Potter! I don't think I would ever be able to read an entire book in a foreign language! Good luck with your reading!
